This group project that I was a part of was the final module at Escape Studios. We had an 8 man team and our goal for this project was to explore a culture that has been explored in other games but to explore it in a new and refreshing way. We settled on bringing Chinese architecture more specifically from the Ming dynasty and Forbidden City. I was the lead lighting artist for this project and my main goal was to really hone into that hollow cave interior atmosphere whilst then also giving each Buddha platform their own unique identity but all in all working together in a cohesive manner.
